Winslow United’s promotion push suffered a setback against London Lions this afternoon.
Two goals just before the break saw the visitors go a long way to taking all three points at Elmfields gate.
In the 41st minute Levi Levenfiche’s header came back off the bar and Max Kyte was on hand to open the scoring.
Kyte then latched onto a through ball on the stroke of half time to slot home again.
In the second half Jack Page hit the post for Paul Alleyne’s side.
A foul on the half way line saw the Lions goalkeeper Josh Samberg take a free kick which ended up in the United net, to put the visitors three ahead.
Late on both Dan Parsons and Simon King saw red.
Thanks to Matt Folkes for his updates.
