Winslow United and Aylesbury United shared a goalless draw in the pre-season friendly at Elmfields Gate last night (11th August 2020).
The visiting Ducks included Robbie Carter, who made the move after playing against them for Buckingham Athletic on Saturday. Full back Kuda Sangoya was another new face included.
Ryan Freshwater picked up an injury early in the game which resulted in Jack Page coming on and Charlie Atwell switching to the centre of the defence.
The visitors best chance came as Anthony Ball’s cross was headed narrowly wide by Carter.
The second half saw the normal numerous substitutions a pre-season fixture brings as both side’s prepare for their campaigns.
The Ducks saw Jack Wood’s strike pushed around the post by the home side’s goalkeeper Lee Parrack.
There was a late downpour just before the end of another 90 minutes under the belt for both clubs.
