Risborough Rangers closed the gap at the top to just a single point following their midweek 1-1 draw at Milton Keynes Irish while New Salamis moved up to third after winning their eighth successive game this time 4-2 at struggling Baldock Town. At the bottom Oxhey Jets moved out of the bottom two with a 2-1 win on the road at Holmer Green while Tring Athletic picked up a very useful point after holding high flying Hadley to a 2-2 draw at Brickfield Lane. For bottom club Dunstable Town it was another disappointing night as they were beaten at home by Aylesbury Vale Dynamos 0-2. Elsewhere the much improving Harefield United enjoyed a 5-1 success at Crawley Green while Ardley United overcame visiting London Colney 3-1.
