Charlie King scored four tries as Stowe School U16A lifted the U16 School Sports Cup.
Buckingham-based King produced the feat as his side defeated Northampton School for Boys at Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire to become national champions. He has now scored 24 tries in 14 games this campaign, making him one of the top schoolboy scorers in the country.
King scored two first half and two second half tries, alongside a penalty and conversion by Eddie Hartigan to secure the win. It was a great team performance with the forwards perfectly executing the rolling maul and lineout drive.
The backs were always a threat too, with keen running and slick movement they made good yards and territory.
King, with Evans, was involved in turnovers, plus with Wilson, held up on the tryline to thwart their opponents in the second half and helped Stowe over the line to succeed 25-21 .
