Bucks Skipper Kervezee Retires From National Counties Cricket After Appointment As Worcestershire Lead 2nd XI Coach.
Alexei Kervezee has retired from National Counties Cricket which brings down the curtain on a stellar career with Bucks, the county have revealed.
Having joined Bucks in 2019, the very popular Kervezee brought a high-level of professionalism to the dressing room. From personal experience, Kervezee was always courteous and giving of his time. The sight of Kervezee running shuttles as players arrived for their first outdoor practice session of the season, an hour before the planned start, showed the levels and standards of a role model.
It is no coincidence that during his spell with the county they have won two NCCA Championship titles (2023 & 2025), plus three Divisional titles in (Eastern Division 2 -2022, Eastern Division 1 – 2023 & 2025).

We are delighted to confirm that Men’s Captain Alexei Kervezee has been appointed Worcestershire CCC 2nd XI coach and has therefore made the decision to retire from National Counties cricket.
Alexei departs Bucks Cricket as a five-time winner – two NCCA Championships, two Eastern Division 1 titles, one Eastern Division 2 title – as well as two NCCA Showcase victories over Surrey and Leicestershire.
