The 2026/7 Division One Central of the Pitching In Southern League Has A Local Look.
The promotion of Winslow United to step 4, the first time in their history, sets up a lot of local interest, as can be seen below.

2026/7 Pitching In Southern League, Division One Central
League Statement
The National League System Club Allocations for the 2026/27 season were announced at midday on Thursday (14th May). These will be subject to any appeals that are forthcoming.
Pitching In Southern League Premier Central, promoted duo, Leighton Town and Hitchin Town, will be joined by Leamington and Peterborough Sports, who were relegated from The National League North. Other new clubs who we welcome into the fold are Anstey Nomads and Racing Club Warwick, whilst Rushall Olympic have moved across from the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
The Pitching In Southern League Premier South, promoted duo Frome Town and Malvern Town are joined by Bath City and Chippenham Town, who were relegated from The National League South. Other new clubs who we welcome into the fold are Hanworth Villa and Chichester City, who have moved across to join us.
Over in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central, Didcot Town have moved across from Division One South, whilst Waltham Abbey have also returned to us. We welcome Haringey Borough and Winslow United, who have been promoted from the Spartan South Midlands League. They are joined by Potters Bar Town and Royston Town.
Finally, in the Pitching In Southern League Division One South, There are a number of new teams with Dorchester Town, Hungerford Town, Tiverton Town and Weymouth coming down, to be joined by promoted clubs, Barnstaple Town, Paulton Rovers, Portland United, Slimbridge and Worcester Raiders. Meanwhile, Willand Rovers have been granted a reprieve from relegation.
