Wargrave Have Their Lead Cut At The Top But Are Still 13 Points Clear.

Toby Greatwood’s brilliant century was not enough to give leaders Wargrave (15) a maximum as they drew at Thame Town (18).
Greatwood made a run-a-ball undefeated 111 which included 12 fours and 3 sixes as his side posted 244 for 9 from their 58 overs. Opener Rob Farina(40) was again amongst the runs. Town skipper Hassam Mushtaq claiming five for 80 from eleven overs of spin.
In reply, Ubaid Kiani (47) and Shahbaz Meer (57) shared a sixth wicket stand of 60 to deny their visitors the chance of victory, who had Mark Firth (three for 40 from 12 overs) as their main threat.
Oxford (25) took full advantage of the drawn game at Church Meadow as they recorded an 89-run win at Stoke Green (10).
Jack Wilkins played a captain’s knock as his patient 58 not out from 92 balls rallied his Oxford side after he shared an 86 run partnership for the eighth wicket with Dylan Swanepoel (43). Only Jack Hobbs (39) made runs after a number of the Roman batters got starts. Passikku Madusanka continued his rich vein of form with five for 89 for the hosts.
Julian Laird’s four for 21 from 12 overs spun Oxford to success as they dismissed Stoke Green for 136.
Gerrards Cross (15) are third after they drew their local derby at Chesham (17) at The Meadow.
Chesham’s Matt McKinley (5-59) produced the best figures of the day in the division as he took five poles, while Henry Sussum chipped in with three for 69 as the visitors posted 297 all out in 55.4 overs. Bucks wicketkeeper-batter George Harvey top scored for Gerrards Cross with 71, with Ben Spencer (57) and a run-a-ball 59 from Ed Snushall.
Matt Rance scored his sixth league century of his career as he shared a second wicket stand of 112 with Daniel Ward (43) to ensure they recorded vital points. Rance made 104 in his innings of 113 balls which contained sixteen boundaries, of which one was a maximum. Mark Eteen hit 83 runs from 69 balls (10 x 4s & 4 x 6s) as his side enjoyed the better of the spoils.
Jack Laraman’s all-round display aided Datchet’s (25) nine wicket win over Challow & Childrey (3) at the Wally Gage Memorial Ground.
The left-arm spinner took three for 13 in 5.2 overs as James Phillips (45) was the only visiting batter of note. His team were removed for 157 all out in 35.2 overs.
Laraman then opened up with a stand of 126 with Tom Bevan, who made a run-a-ball 59. Laraman took his side to victory in just 24.2 overs with an unbeaten 74 from 79 balls, with ten boundaries.
The Rafiq brothers combined with bat and ball to give Horspath (25) a 58-run win over Ickenham (11).
Asad Rafiq’s brilliant knock ensured Horspath posted a competitive 254 for 9 from 58 overs. Rafiq made 77 not out from 125 balls, including 8 fours and a six, while there were runs for Connor Wardlaw (52), who hit a 50-ball half century, and Derval Green who made 31. Krissie Mistry (3-61) and David Morgans (3-66) both taking a trio of victims.
Skipper Amin Rafiq then produced with the ball taking four for 25 in a match-winning spell of 7.1 overs as Ickenham were bowled out for 196 in 48.1 overs. Nikhil Nair’s 54 not out being the visitors stand-out performance with the willow.
