Leaders Datchet produced a 110-run success at fellow title rivals and promotion hopefuls Wargrave.
Jack Laraman was again in outstanding form, this time with the ball, as his left arm spin claimed another six victims. Laraman finish with six for 33 from ten overs as Wargrave were dismissed for 147 in 31.4 overs.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Datchet’s middle to lower order secured vital runs as Tom Bevan (43), Joshua Jayasingh (55) and Daniel Akhtar (34) took them to 257 all out (49.4 overs) from the number six, seven and eight berths.
Oxford recorded a six-wicket success at Challow & Childrey to ensure they stay seven points behind Datchet.
The Oxford attack combined to remove the home side for 162 (47 overs) after they elected to bat. Only Vishane Perera (47) and Alan Prothero (41 not out) troubled the scorers.
Josh Towell made 30, while fellow opener Gaajuran Ganagabalan struck 47 from just 30 balls as the pair added 79 up front. Oxford got their maximum as Finn McKeown guided them home with an unbeaten 43. James Newton Savage picking up three for 30 for the hosts.
Gerrards Cross promotion hopes took a dent as they suffered a surprise defeat to Ickenham, who ran out winners by six wickets at Dukes Lane.
After selecting to use the willow first, the home side recovered from 12 for 3 as Chris Marrow (41) found good support from George Harvey, who made a run-a-ball 79. Ariyen Patel (3-41) took three poles for the visitors as they bowled out Cross for 177 in 37 overs.
The chase also lasted 37 overs as Vivek Nair (30) and Nikhil Nair (50) gave their side a solid platform, from which Luke O’Driscoll and Harrison Marner took their side to the win.
There were 675 runs scored as Stoke Green left Thame Town with the twenty points at Church Meadow.
Green opener Fahad Raja (58) started positively which Raheem Sher (85) and skipper Karanpreet Singh (33) added to. Passikku Madusanka then injected some spectacular hitting into the proceedings as he hammered an unbeaten 138 from just 54 balls in 58 minutes. Madusanka’s fireworks included 13 sixes and 9 fours as his side closed on 370 for 5 from their 50 overs. Jonathan Jelfs claimed three for 85 for Town.
Evan Cowley (44) and Shahbaz Meer (41) helped Thame start brightly but the visiting bowling attack ensured it was going to be a tough ask. This despite Alex Browne, who stroked a brilliant century as he finished 104 not out from 97 balls, which included fourteen boundaries, six maximums. He was supported by Ubaid Kiani, who made 58 runs from as many balls. Thame finished 65 short (305 for 7 from 50 overs).
Horspath saw their last pairing get their side across the line not for the first time this season as they won by one wicket at Chesham.
Sam Leslie (13 not out) and Jehan Mohammed (2 not out) added the seven runs needed to help their side reach their target. The Horspath top three of Sravan Konidena (44), Josh Richardson (52) and Stephen Green (30) were all in the runs before Moteeb Syed’s spell of four for 52 pegged the ‘path back. Leslie and Mohammed ensuring the points returned to Oxfordshire with the late drama.
Earlier, Matt Rance (62) and Theo Weatherall (53) were the mainstays of the Chesham innings as the home side posted 200 all out in 44.1 overs. Liam Turnbull (3-39) and Mohammed (3-48) were the best two of eight bowlers used by the visitors.
